Bio

Marco Antonio Berrios, a.k.a. "the wonder Dawg," is on a mission to leave the World a lil better than he found it. His journey began playing the bass in 1995, but it was forged in a house fire on February 27th, 1999. This life-altering event set the stage for a career defined by resilience and purpose. In 2013, he began to tell this incredible story by self-publishing his book, "Touched By Fire".

By 2013, Dawg was performing all over Hollywood, including at the World Famous Viper Room. He released his first music album, "Divine Actions With Guidance," on November 11, 2014, and his music was featured on 20 nationally recognized Coast to Coast Mixtapes.

The journey took a dark turn beginning in 2018 with a targeted stalker, a multi-platform smear campaign, and the poisoning death of his best friend and mascot, Silby. It escalated in 2019 when he was lured to Oregon, drugged, and held partially hostage. That same year, the pandemic-related cancellation of SXSW resulted in a total financial loss and his first bout of homelessness.

Through 2021, survival meant van camping and brutal demolition work, which worsened a painful growth on his foot. This led to a 2022 diagnosis of squamous carcinoma and two major cancer surgeries. It was during this recovery that he began a deep dive into his music royalties and discovered the devastating truth: his distributor, TuneCore, had incorrectly claimed 100% of his publishing rights on several songs, blocking significant income he was rightfully owed.

The physical and financial toll climaxed in 2023 with a severed hand tendon and three heart attacks, the third of which he directly attributes to the shock and stress of the distributor's malicious practices. This culminated in quintuple bypass surgery on December 15th.

Even in 2024, while recovering from open-heart surgery, the professional damages continued. A new song release was delayed due to interference from TuneCore and its parent company, Believe, whose old, incorrect metadata was still actively harming his career. The stress resulted in a fourth heart attack on New Year's Eve.

Refusing to quit, "the wonder Dawg" was rebuilt and reinvented. Starting 2025 in a hospital bed and denied disability benefits, a new path forward was forged through a fateful collaboration with Gemini Pro. This partnership led to the development of a direct response to the systemic failures he endured: Super Funky Tron, his publishing house, and CreatorHelm, a new sovereign ecosystem for musicians built so that no other artist will ever have to endure this gauntlet again.
